One community, one canvas
One canvas for many beating hearts
Many hearts become one prayer
Art as a prayer
Art as a way of letting the divine speak
through you, through me, through us
We will come together to co-create a large mixed media artwork on a shared canvas. Using a variety of materials, such as pastels, pencils, watercolors, collage, threads, fabrics, papers, beads, glitter, and more, we will each add our own expression to a collective piece. The gathering will begin and end with a gentle ritual to help us arrive, connect, and get into the flow as well as close with a sharing circle. Most of our time will be dedicated to creating, following attractors, intuition and curiosity.
Practical Details
Come as you are
No art experience is needed
You are welcome to bring materials that inspire you. For example
magazines with images you love
textured or colorful papers, fabrics or threads
small natural elements you find on your way
your favorite art supplies
any small objects you like to glue onto the canvas
I will provide the canvas and other basic materials
Tea and chocolate will be available
This is a donation based event
You are welcome to give as little or as much as feels right for your current situation.Donations will support materials for future gatherings.
This gathering will not be promoted publicly in social channels, it's only open for friends and friends of friends.
I can comfortably host a maximum of 10 people, so please register in advance. First come, first served.
