Finding Your Inner Compass

6 weeks immersive Expressive Arts group journey

In a world flooded with information, endless consumption, and the daily struggle to make ends meet, we often find ourselves overwhelmed, discouraged or even lost. Trust in leadership and institutions has eroded, leaving the burden of meaning and direction on each of us as individuals. Without the grounding of community, shared rituals, or practices to hold us, we can easily lose our sense of orientation.

How do you find your north and your south in such times? How do you keep walking your path — finding strength, clarity, and purpose — when the outer world feels unstable?

About the Journey

Finding Your Inner Compass is a six-part expressive arts journey into the landscapes of your inner world. Together, we will create an intimate space — a circle of trust, creativity, and exploration — where art becomes a language for what words alone cannot express.

Each session is a gentle unfolding, guiding you back to your own truth.

Sessions

  • Grounding: The Temple of the Body

Reconnect with your roots. Feel your body as home — the vessel that holds, senses, and knows. Through movement, breath, and tactile creation, we’ll rediscover the simple art of being here. Together, we will explore grounding exercises as well as what helps you personally to return to presence, learning to listen to the wisdom your body offers in each moment.

    Date: Jan 11th, 2026

  • Reclaiming Power: Anger as a Friend

Explore the fire within. Learn to meet anger not as a threat, but as a teacher — the energy that protects boundaries, fuels transformation, and brings purpose to life. How can we engage with this vital energy in a way that feels both safe and contained? Like a fireplace, it needs tending and thoughtful containment. Through guided exercises and creative practices, you’ll discover tools to recognize, honor, and channel your strength in ways that feel empowering.

    Date: Jan 18th, 2026

  • Anchoring in Love

Somewhere between codependency and isolation lies a healthy, loving way of relating — and it begins within. Together, we’ll explore how to gently quiet the inner cruel dialogue and dial up the compassionate one. Through self-acceptance, we can open our arms to give and receive love, forming relationships that feel nourishing and lasting.

You’ll discover what nurtures you personally and learn ways to anchor in love — for yourself, others, and life — even amidst uncertainty.

    Date: Jan 25th, 2026

  • Vibrating into Expression

What would it feel like to express fully — to not dilute your truth, but to own it, be heard, and be accepted? What is your artistic voice? After moving through and integrating the grounding, power, and love of the first three sessions, you’ll stand strong and rooted, feeling your heart and your energy. Together, we’ll explore sound, movement, color, and rhythm to give form to your inner truth. This session is about speaking your truth, being witnessed, and discovering the joy, liberation, and vitality that emerge when your inner world is allowed to vibrate outward.

    Date: Feb 1st, 2026

  • Opening Consciousness: Intuition and Mystery

Listen to the quiet voice within. We’ll touch the realms of imagination, the unconscious, and the unseen — trusting the compass that lives in your intuition. What better way to explore mystery and inner guidance than through art? You’ll be invited to open up to subtle insights, symbols, and the unexpected, cultivating curiosity and connection to your inner wisdom.

    Date: Feb 8th, 2026

  • Integrating and Closing

This final session is a space to reflect on what has shifted, what has awakened, and what you want to honor moving forward. We’ll take time to acknowledge the journey you’ve traveled and offer gratitude for the group that held and witnessed you along the way.

We will close with a gentle ritual, shared reflections, and a potluck — a simple, nourishing way to celebrate community, integration, and the new compass you carry within.

    Date: Feb 15th, 2026

In this space, there are no expectations of artistic skill — only curiosity, courage, and a willingness to listen deeply. Through art, movement, and reflection, you’ll begin to sense your own orientation again — your true north and south — and walk your path with renewed trust.

This is an invitation to slow down, to listen, connect, and to remember what is already within you. In a small group held by creative process, presence, and care, you’ll get the chance to express yourself, be witnessed and held and that is in itself a healing and empowering experience.

Come as you are — curious, tired, searching, inspired, overwhelmed or lost— and together we’ll create, witness, and rediscover what guides you from within.

Your compass has always been there. Let’s rediscover it together.

Your host

My work with people is driven by knowing and trusting that your innermost self wants to be revealed and be your guide. Through the use of intermodal expressive arts, we create an environment where one can let go of reason and everyday reality and emerge into an imaginative and playful experience. When we stay in this liminal space, it often happens that something emerges, the gift of the work that carries meaning and value.

As an expressive arts facilitator, leader, ex yoga teacher, mother and a highly sensitive human being, I help people go into the soil of their being, reach to the seeds, nurture them and witness them crack open and grow. I am fascinated by how creative flow brings us to the here-and-now, awakens the entirety of our vibrant selves, touches and moves us.

I truly love guiding groups and tending spaces that begin to breathe and come alive as we slowly open into the mysteries of our human existence. It is always an honor — and an immense pleasure — to connect, to hold, and to witness this unfolding.

Much Love, Gohar
